I liked their motives. Kinda shitting on the fan base but after being in the Scream Facebook groups, I understand it lmao. But thinking about it, I can see how it’s also in support of the fan base because like Richie says “what’s wrong with fandom? People hate us just because we love something”?

Most of the Scream Groups I’m in aren’t terrible but I’ve seen the “woodsboro film club” be so nasty and toxic just posts about how terrible of a film it was and just shitting on everything and it kinda lines up to exactly how the movie potrays that fandom . I was mad at the moment kinda feeling like the meta commentary was an attack but then seeing the groups as I came home I just see exactly that toxic fandoms that don’t offer constructive criticism or describing what they didn’t like about the film instead just pure hate .

So true! I was literally kicked out of Woodsboro film club or whatever it’s called because of a post I made about Sidney in S4?? Totally innocuous post and now I’m banned or something. Is that group even still active? It was so toxic
