Special FBI Agent Kirby Reed

Like so many of us, I am excited for the return of Kirby Reed. And if you happened to catch Hayden Panettierre’s interview on Good Morning America, we were teased about Kirby’s whereabouts over the last few years… she’s a Special FBI Agent. I think this is a terrific maneuver by the writers, utilizing Kirby as a Clarice Starling-type character who I hope survives and can help carry the series into ‘The Following’-esque territory Kevin Williamson envisioned this ongoing series to be. What else do we think Kirby has been up to? If she survives, do you think she’ll play a pivotal role in future SCREAM installments? I’m curious as to others’ thoughts about this choice in character developments and the implications it has for SCREAM VI and beyond…
