The Final Girl

Last year, I wrote a sequel to SCREAM V, that centers around Gale Weathers as the primary protagonist, while still featuring the “core four” and everybody’s favorite Final Girl, Sidney Prescott. Following the events of SCREAM VI, my screenplay would still work as a sequel to the current storyline, while shifting the spotlight to everybody’s favorite investigative journalist. At this point, I think it’s safe to say that Paramount Pictures will green light SCREAM VII. Who do you think part VII should focus on? Sam? Tara? The twins? Gale? Sidney? Kirby? I think SCREAM VII could go in many different directions, if Paramount Pictures is willing to take some risks. If you were the writer of SCREAM VII what story would you tell? I’m curious to hear the thoughts of other die hard fans.
